How to use Google Calendar to Organize Your Schedule and Life
I've had a strange addition to Google Calendar since the beginning of college. I was, and still am, the kind of person that will retroactively put appointments into Google Calendar when I've done something spontaneous and that wasn't already on my schedule. While I'm not saying you need to follow your Calendar as religiously as I do, there is something to be said about how it has helped me to keep track of everything I'm juggling and manage my time. I hope it releases a heavy load off your shoulders as it has mine.
Here's a snapshot my Google Calendar from last week. It is synced with my Google Classroom courses so I and my students can see when assignments are due, when we have class, the Zoom links for sessions, etc. Especially in the time of remote everything, it has been a lifechanger to have the Zoom links all in one place.

The great thing about Google Calendar appointments is getting email notifications (both you and the student will get confirmation emails) and being able to easily reschedule, cancel, change details, etc. with automatic email notifications.
